Mission

Thoughts out !oud (To!) seeks to honestly unpack, analyse, review and reflect upon certain non-Christian worldviews as well as insufficient or misguided, so-called Christian behaviour by Christians that is out of step with fundamental, biblically-based Christian doctrine. To! seeks to accomplish this for the benefit of the Good News delivered to the world through our God and Saviour, Jesus Christ, and attempts to do so by the thoughtful and direct articles / commentary published on this site.

Beliefs

I hold that the Bible is the word of the living God, that the Bible is authoritative and inerrant.

I further hold that Jesus is in his very nature and essence the God of the universe and is the 2nd person of the Triune Godhead, the other two persons being God the Father and God the Holy Spirit.

All of mankind is steeped in sin and immorality (Isaiah 64:6, Ephesians 2:1-3) – both inherently and wilfully enacted – and will, apart from God’s grace, die separated from God’s glory for eternity. Only faith in Jesus Christ alone can save mankind from his sin and death and it is only this same faith that can deliver him into eternal life with the Triune Godhead – not by his own works or efforts or lifestyle, but purely by God’s own mercy (Titus 3:5).
